Dear College Bound Senior Women:

Congratulations on your decision to continue your education and personal growth in college!

All sororities were created with the desire for friendship, leadership, achievement and philanthropy in their pursuit of higher education.  Among many benefits, they offer you a home away from home, help make the university smaller by providing an easy way to connect with others and give you an opportunity to develop leadership skills.  This sisterhood also provides a lifetime of friendship via alumnae associations throughout the country and abroad where you can make new friends as you move to different locations.  Alumnae groups are among the most noted organizations that support community non-profit organizations.  Lifetime benefits are too numerous to mention.

The Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association (AAPA) has delegates from 20 of the 26 National Panhellenic Conference sororities.  In addition to our support of Childkind, our local philanthropy, annually, we award scholarships to undergraduate sorority women  and alumnae members pursuing an advanced degree.

AAPA’s main objective is to help provide you and your parents with general sorority information, as well as notify Atlanta alumnae groups of your intent to participate in the mutual selection process called membership recruitment.  We look forward to meeting you and helping you understand this process at our Recruitment Roundtable being held on Sunday, March 30, 2008, from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Smyrna Community Center,  200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna, Georgia  30080.  Registration begins at 1:30pm.  Panhellenic representatives will be on-site to answer any questions you may have.  Mark your calendars and join us for this informative meeting!  Please RSVP using the form below by March 26.  This form does not register you with the Panhellenic on your college campus; you will need to do that separately.

More AAPA information may be found on our website as well as on our page at www.myspace.com/atlantapanhel.    Picture yourself Greek!
