Local Philanthropy
We strive to have a positive impact in the Atlanta area.
Since 2007, AAPA has proudly partnered with Mary Hall Freedom Village, a local organization that focuses on freeing women and children from the cycle of homelessness, poverty, mental illness, and addiction.
We also raise funds to provide scholarships for collegiate and alumnae sorority women from Metro Atlanta. Learn more about our Scholarship Program.

Monthly Giving That Matters
Each month, three AAPA member organizations team up to provide essential donations—new clothing, pantry staples, personal care items, and more. One of our favorite traditions is the “Fill a Laundry Basket” program, where members creatively stock baskets with either a cleaning or personal care theme, filling them with necessities and thoughtful touches.
To make giving easy and impactful, our Philanthropy Committee curates an Amazon Gift List with the most-needed items, delivered directly to Mary Hall Freedom Village.
Volunteering & Events
Beyond donations, AAPA members actively volunteer their time and talents—building deeper connections with the women and families served. Whether it's helping with mock interviews or attending key fundraising events, our members provide support to their vital programs.
In moments of celebration, we show up with heart. At the annual Graduation Ceremony, AAPA provides desserts to honor residents’ achievements and transitions, which is a sweet way to share in their joy.
