Scholarship Program

We exist to raise funds to support the educational journey of collegiate and alumnae sorority women from Metro Atlanta. Whether she's a collegiate sorority woman dreaming of medical school, an alumna returning for her master’s in business administration, or a changemaker pivoting careers to serve her community in new ways—our scholarship recipients embody courage, purpose, and lifelong leadership. We’re proud to support women who are just beginning, boldly beginning again, or deepening their impact through continued education.

2025 Scholarship Recipients

Thank you to our generous donors who helped award five $4,400 scholarships, totaling $22,000.

This year’s recipients include three collegiate sorority members and two alumnae, representing five different sororities: Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Zeta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Sigma Kappa. They attend four different universities: Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, University of Georgia, and University College London.

June Hodge Collegiate Scholarship

Grace McGrail, Αlpha Gamma Delta

University of Georgia

Established in 2020, this scholarship is named for June Hodge, Alpha Omicron Pi, past AAPA president and an outstanding example of a dedicated and well-loved alumna who remains involved to this day. Special consideration is given to collegians serving their College Panhellenic in a leadership role or as a committee member.

Christina Semeria "Spark in the Dark" Scholarship

University of Georgia

This scholarship was established by Cathy and Dave Semeria in memory of their daughter, Christina "Tini" Semeria, Alpha Chi Omega, Beta Sigma Chapter, University of Georgia. Her heartbeat was to reach the least, the last and the hopeless. Tini would want her “spark” to continue to inspire young women to be the light today and always.

Rigby Duncan Collegiate Scholarship

Violet Riggle, Kappa Delta

Kennesaw State University

Established in 2017, this scholarship is named in honor of Rigby Duncan, Alpha Xi Delta, past AAPA President, past AAPAF Treasurer and long time Alpha Xi Delta delegate. Rigby is a wonderful example lifelong dedication to her sorority and panhellenic life. Rigby's son, David Rocker, created this scholarship to honor his mother.

Luann Rhodes Alumna Scholarship

Rachel Sprouse, Kappa Alpha Theta

Auburn University - undergrad

Georgia Tech - grad

Established in 2006 by Marge Reason, this scholarship is named for Luann Rhodes, Alpha Gamma Delta, who is a past AAPA executive officer. Luann passed away from lung cancer during her tenure on the executive board.
